The Brisbane French Festival was held on Saturday 16th July 2011 from 9am to 10pm
The festival was a success attracting:
• Opening of the event by The Honorouble Anna Bligh, Queensland Premier, Councillor Geraldine Knapp and the
Consul Général de France, Mr Bachir Bakhti who officially opened the event.
• More than 50,000 visitors
• 2 successful community grants
• Over 70 exhibitors
• 22 acts on the main stage
• Over 150 volunteers
• An exclusive VIP event for our sponsors, artists and government representatives
The Brisbane French Festival generated publicity for sponsors, exhibitors and entertainment via:

In the first year of the Festival it become the largest French Festival in Australia, giving visitors a real French experience in the heart of Brisbane.
